Review Policy

Here are a few things you should consider before contacting me about your book:

• Accepting a review copy doesn't guarantee I will write about it.
• I read based on mood, so I may not be in the mood to read your book right away, if at all.
• I prefer hard copies; electronic copies should be compatible with Kindle Paperwhites.
• I write for publications other than bildungsromans.com and I may decide to review your book in one of those places, instead of or in addition to reviewing it here.
• Types of books that generally delight me:
  • YA Mystery (teen sleuths FTW!) & YA Romance
  • Adult romance
  • Feminist nonfiction
  • Plot-driven fiction
  • Graphic novels
  • Middle grade fiction
• Types of books that I generally avoid:
  • Erotica
  • Character-driven fiction
  • Hard Sci-Fi
  • Inspirational/Christian fiction
  • High fantasy
